Austin Jarvis belted a 2-run home run to tie the game in the fifth inning and his sacrifice fly in the top of the seventh scored the winning run Monday as Burlington Central opened the baseball season with a 6-5 road win over Crystal Lake Central.
Nick Hahn also had a home run in the game for the Rockets, a 2-run shot in the first inning.
Sam Klein picked up the win in relief, allowing no hits and striking out four in the final 21/3 innings.
