Weber. 24, of the 1100 block of Leicester Road, Elk Grove Village, was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, and unlawful possession of registration at 1:02 a.m. March 12 after a traffic stop at Villa and St. Charles streets in Elgin, reports said. Weber is accused of possessing hallucinogenic mushrooms, reports said. His bond was set at 10 percent of $10,000.bull; Mark J. Pivec, 45, of the 900 block of Charlela Lane, Elk Grove Village, was arrested around 9:30 p.m. March 7 at his home and charged with criminal damage to property. HIs court date is April 9. bull; Vandals shot BB-gun pellets into the rear window of a 1993 Dodge Durango and Chevrolet Suburban on the 100 block of Kenilworth Avenue, a 1998 Jeep Cherokee on the 0-100 block of Kendal Road, and 1998 Plymouth Voyager van on the 500 block of Bristol Lane between 12:10 and 8 a.m. March 7. During the same time, vandals smashed the rear window on a 1998 Ford Expedition on the 0-100 block of Kenilworth Avenue. Total damage was estimated at $2,300. bull; Burglars cut a hole in a wall at SP Richards Co., 2650 S. Lively Blvd., between 5 p.m. March 6 and 5:12 a.m. March 8, parked a box truck at the hole and ransacked the building. It was not immediately clear if anything was missing. bull; Thieves stole two large charity donation boxes at 515 Meacham Road between March 1 and 8. Reports said an officer found 93 Darvocet pills in the glove box. They did not have a valid prescription for the pills, reports said.
