Foundation gala raises $33,500 for Dist. 54 schools

The Schaumburg Township Elementary School Foundation along with title sponsor, Harris Bank hosted its signature Mardi Gras and Casino charitable benefit Friday, Feb. 19, at The Stonegate in Hoffman Estates.

Over 250 guests enjoyed dinner, casino games, silent auction and prizes and resulted in proceeds of $33,500, which will fund grants for students and educators for programs not covered by school budgets or tax dollars.
