The college's sixth annual Volunteer Tax Assistance program will be open 5:30 to 8 p.m. Wednesdays and from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays at 5 E. Galena Blvd. through April 15, with the exception of March 17 and 20, when the site will offer help with the Free Application for Federal Student Assistance. Families with annual incomes of less than $50,000, and individuals earning less than $25,000 a year are eligible for tax assistance. If possible, clients should bring copies of their 2008 tax returns, W-2 forms, all 1099 forms from 2009, photo identification and social security cards for household members.
