North Chicago maintains NSC Prairie lead

Darryl Pearson and Aaron Simpson scored 19 and 18 points, respectively, to lead North Chicago's boys basketball team to a 78-42 win over host Wauconda on Friday night.

North Chicago remained undefeated in the North Suburban Prairie Division and in sole possession of first place.

Maurice Gordon (11 points) also scored in double figures for the Warhawks.

Wauconda (6-15, 1-7) was led in scoring by Tyler Gick with 11 points.
