Pucher, Ludwick score 25 each for Grayslake North

Grayslake North 67, Crystal Lake Central 46: Grayslake North's boys basketball team rode the hot shooting of Matt Pucher and Teddy Ludwick to a 67-46 victory over host Crystal Lake Central on Wednesday night.

Both players scored 25 points, as the Knights improved to 7-8 overall and 2-2 in the Fox Valley Conference Fox Division.

Ludwick sank five 3-pointers, while Pucher hit three.

Carmel 59, Wauconda 41: The host Corsairs used a balanced scoring attack to win the nonconference game.

Doug Meyer and Patrick Cox each scored 11 points for Carmel (8-10), while Jonathan Huisel added 10. Connor Sexson sank a pair of 3-pointers and finished with 8 points.

Wauconda (6-15) received 13 points from Tyler Gick, while Matt Stonis added 12 points and 7 rebounds.
