I was visiting my Grandparent's cemetery in Crystal Lake in Fall, 2008, when I happened upon this maple leaf. A ray of sun dancing across, it stood out from the others and seemed to usher in the season.

I took this picture at the Ngorongoro Wildlife Lodge in Tanzania while I was on an African Safari trip. The picture is taken from the room with the balcony doors open to the view of the Ngorongoro Crater floor where the wildlife reside. You feel one with the nature as you look out. I love taking pictures of rooms with a view wherever I travel.
