Burlington Central 71, Marengo 48: The Rockets (5-2, 1-0) outscored Marengo 24-6 in the third quarter cruising to victory in their Big Northern East Conference opener at home.

Taylor Colby (22 points), Ali Settanni (18 points), Brenda Thasavong (14 points), and Jordan Maisto (11 points) all paced the Rockets offensively with double-digit scoring efforts.

Keith School 48, Westminster Christian 42: The Warriors (2-5, 0-2) fell just short in their Northeast Athletic Conference matchup against Keith School on the road. Rachel Doby led the Warriors with 17 points while Beth Kautz and Sarah Rodgers added 8 points a piece.

Aurora Christian 49, Elgin Academy 24: The Hilltoppers (2-4) were unable to get going offensively as they fell on the road to Aurora Christian. Lauren Steimle turned in a double-digit performance with 11 points to lead the Hilltoppers.
