Wauconda edges Woodstock

Wauconda's boys basketball team did more than even up its record Saturday night.

The Bulldogs' 49-46 win over visiting Woodstock was their third of the season, matching their 2008-09 victory total.

Wauconda trailed 38-30 after three quarters but outscored the Blue Streaks 19-8 in the fourth.

Eric Hartnett led Wauconda with 15 points. The Bulldogs received seven apiece from Tyler Gick, Chris Woolridge and Matt Mead.
