Timothy Christian and Immaculate Conception entered Tuesday's game with 4-0 records, coming off Thanksgiving tournament sweeps.
Timothy, playing on its home court in Elmhurst, won this nonconference battle 74-57. The 5-0 Trojans got off to fast starts in both the first and third quarters, scoring 22 and 24 points, respectively.
Timothy forward Rob Stein had a double-double with 24 points and 12 rebounds. Point guard Reggie Greenwood scored 11 points with 7 assists.
Immaculate Conception (4-1) was led by guard Michael Randick's 15 points. Forward Demitrius Mobley, all-tourney at Westminster Christian, was held to 9 points.
Naperville Central 49, Glenbard West 37: A 21-9 third-quarter margin boosted the visiting Redhawks to the nonconference victory. David Niggins scored 13 points to lead Naperville Central (4-1). Glenbard West fell to 0-4 despite 22 points from 6-foot-6 sophomore Michael Mache.
Reavis 51, Fenton 49: Junior Dan Montano continued his hot hand with 18 points and a pair of 3's, but Fenton (2-3) lost to nonconference host Reavis (4-0).
