Outlook Westminster Christian returns its entire starting lineup from a year ago. "We didn't have any seniors the last two years. We've been very young," said Flickinger. "We are deep this year. We'll dress 14 kids. We're pretty experienced. Everybody, with the exception of Katie Surratt (transfer in from Iowa), has played in the program since they were freshman." Flickinger was thrilled with the team's progress over the summer and during practice this fall. "I don't know if I've ever had a squad this well-prepared going into the season," said Flickinger. Westminster is now part of the Northeastern Athletic Conference. "It's a different look than the PSL," said Flickinger. "There's a lot of variety with the teams. I think the conference title is kind of up for grabs. Rockford Christian is going to be one of the favorites. We're going to try and contend for a conference title. We've got high expectations. We have aspirations to be over .500. Hopefully we can stay healthy and make some noise come playoff time." Doby, one of the area's top rebounders last year, had 20 points and 9 rebounds in a loss to Indian Creek earlier this week. Bickford is currently sidelined with an ankle injury, which opened up a spot for Sleeting in the starting lineup in the opener.
