Scouting report The Blazers have made baby steps forward under Schader from two wins his first year, to six, to nine last year. With four starters back that upward trend should continue. "It's a mentality that had to be changed," Schader said. "We're going in the right direction." The catalyst is third-year starter Little, a shooting point who averaged 12.2 points and 4 assists a game as a sophomore. "Her court awareness is just amazing," Schader said, "and she's going to make more shots than she misses. A very well-rounded player." Pezzopane is a second-year varsity post pushing 6 feet with a nice fadeaway jumper. She is joined in the paint by Smolinski, Kamide and "gym rat" Murrllo. "We feel we have 7-10 players that can score for us on a given night," Schader said.
