MCC series continues with classical guitar, fall concert

The Second Sunday Concert Series at McHenry County College, 8900 Route 14, Crystal Lake, will feature two concerts in November, including classical guitarist Brian Torosian at 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 8, and the MCC Music Department Fall Concert at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 18.

In addition to performing on the six-string guitar, Torosian plays replicas of a Baroque guitar, a Terz guitar and a 10-string guitar.

The Nov. 18 concert will feature performances by the MCC Concert Band, MCC Chorus and the MCC Jazz Ensemble. The concerts are free and open to the public. A reception will follow each concert. For information, call Michael Hillstrom at (815) 479-7814.
