Read and Feed Food Drive: Through Tuesday, Dec. 1, donate food pantry items when you check out or return library books at the Arlington Heights Memorial Library, 500 N. Children's book drive: Harper College is helping give needy children a jump-start on reading. The college's library is collecting new and gently used children's books through Saturday, Oct. 31. The books will be donated to the Township High School District 214 Community Education Program and Elk Grove Village Township. Donations to Harper's 16th annual Children's Book Drive can be dropped off in the library, main floor, Building F., and in other collection boxes across campus.
