Schaumburg tops BG in MSL crossover

Jimmy McFarland, Blake Nelson and Declan Geraghty scored first-half goals and host Schaumburg held on to top visiting Buffalo Grove 3-2 in a Mid-Suruban Leauge divisional crossover on Tuesday.

Kyle Fiordaliso and Nick Rajner found the back of the net for the Bison.

Hoffman Estates 7, Wheeling 3: Sishun Zerihun had 4 assists and also scored once to help the host Hawks past the Wildcats. Brad Powszok and Alex Corona both had a pair of goals for Hoffman Estates; the other Hawks scorers were Cesar Kargas and Nick Cardenas. Luis Vargas had a pair of assists, and Powszok had 1 assist.

Wheeling got a pair of goals from Irvin Ilawisa and 1 from Ricky Garcia.

Conant 1, Hersey 1: Conant's Matt Manka scored a first-half goal as the host Cougars and the Huskies both scored in the first period and played a scoreless second half.
