South Elgin High
• Do you care enough to wear pink? If you have attended any football game yet, you will notice that the student section has a theme for every game. In the season opener, it was a white out, followed by a plaid week, and there is a rumor of a beach theme. Thursday, the staff will wear pink. Bartlett High (the opponent) and South Elgin High are combining to raise money for cancer awareness. One of the ways they are doing this is by selling Pink T-shirts, and all of the proceeds will go toward the "Pink Heals" tour to help raise awareness and support to all the women who have battled and survived breast cancer. If you are interested in purchasing a T-shirt for $10, call Jason Schaal at (847) 289-3760, ext. 3241. Come out to the football game at 7:30 p.m. Friday against Bartlett, and wear your pink shirt to support the cause.
