Streamwood 1, Elgin 1: The Sabres (4-7-4, 0-2-2) remained winless in Upstate Eight Conference play Tuesday, tying Elgin. Ivan Arce scored the Sabres' lone goal on an assist from Alex Perez. Edgar Leyva recorded 6 saves in goal.
Westminster Christian 8, Rockford Christian Life 0: The Warriors (7-3-1, 2-1) wasted no time, scoring early and often as they cruised to an easy Northeastern Conference victory. Westminster Christian was led by a balanced offense as 7 different players record goals. Ishmeal Yemoh led the Warriors with 2 goals while Steven Hoflick, Ryan Beachler, Josh Gannon, Tim Rogers, Josh Beachler, and Scott Sutarik all added 1 goal apiece.
Cary-Grove 3, Crystal Lake Central 0: The Trojans (8-1) came out strong scoring 2 first-half goals and never looking back as they picked up a Fox Valley conference crossover victory. Robbie Perez got things started for the Trojans putting a Drew Conner pass into the back of the net. Aidan McCarthy then scored off an assist from Jacob Cunningham. Matt Latawiec added an insurance goal off of a McCarthy feed for the final goal of the game. Will Higgins recorded 4 saves in goal for the Trojans while Tom Breen made 8 stops.
Burlington Central 2, Hampshire 1: The Rockets (8-2-2, 4-0-1) came away with a Big Northern East victory over the Whip-Purs (6-5-1, 2-2). The Rockets and Whips played even for the first half carrying a 1-1 tie into halftime. Erick Uribe put Burlington Central on the board off of a Kyle Reopelle assist while Hampshire's Ismael Morales took a feed from Leo Perez and put it in the back of the net. The Rockets' Alejandro Nava scored the game-winner in the second half off a penalty kick. Hampshire's Marcus Quick recorded 6 saves in goal while Burlington Central's Alex Pieper registered 3 saves.
