Bartlett High
• On Thursday through Saturday, the musical "The Story of My Life" will be presented at 7 p.m. Tickets are $15 per adult, and $10 per student or senior citizen. BHS students showing their student ID will attend for $5.
Elgin High
• On Monday, Homecoming Week with the theme "Around the World" begins with "Toga Day" with students dressing in togas. Tuesday is "Safari Day" with students dressing in safari outfits. Wednesday is "Class Color Day" with a Powder Puff Game at Memorial Field at 7 p.m. EHS Boosters will be cooking out beginning at 6 p.m. Tickets for the game are $5 at the gate. After the game, students and adults will gather at Buffalo Wild Wings on Route 59. Thursday is "Heritage Day" with students dressing to represent the country of their choice. Friday is "Maroon and Cream Day" with a pep assembly in the EHS field house at 2 followed by a tailgate party at Memorial Field at 3:30 p.m. The sophomore football game begins at 5 p.m.; the Homecoming King and Queen will be crowned before the varsity football game at 7:30 p.m. B96 radio station will be broadcasting the game. Saturday is the Homecoming Dance at EHS from 7 to 11 p.m.
South Elgin High
• On Tuesday, Homecoming begins with the theme "Fairy Tales" Making Wishes Come True; students will participate in Class T-shirt Day. On Wednesday, powder puff football games will be held at 5:30 and 7 p.m. at Millennium Field. Thursday is Sports Day with students vs. staff volleyball and basketball games in the evening. Friday is Spirit Day with everyone dressing in red, white and blue. On Saturday, the Homecoming football games will be held at 11 a.m. for sophomores and 1:30 p.m. for the varsity. The dance will be held from 7 to 10 p.m. in the gym/commons area.
Streamwood High
• On Wednesday, College Night will be held at 6:30 p.m. in the commons area.
Kenyon Woods
• On Friday, a dance will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. for seventh-graders only at the middle school. Tickets are $4 with $1 going to charity. The PTO supplies pop and pizza for the students.
Larsen
• On Thursday, a parent meeting "Knowing Your Adolescent" will meet in the middle school library from 6 to 7:15 p.m. for English-speaking adults and from 7:15 to 8:15 p.m. for Spanish-speaking adults.
Hawk Hollow
• On Friday, the elementary school will hold a walkathon around the school grounds from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. to raise funds for the parent/teacher group Educational Assistant program.
• Also on Friday, from 6:30 to 8 p.m., a family ice cream social and sock hop will be held in the gym and commons area.
