Crystal Lake South 0, Wheaton North 0: The Gators (5-0-1) fought tough but were unable to push a goal across as they tied Wheaton North 0-0 at the Lake Park Invite bringing their tournament record to 3-0-1. Dave Walsh remained consistent in goal as he posted his 3rd straight shut-out with 7 saves.

Elgin 5, Northside Academy 1: Raul Hernandez (3 goals, 1 assist) did it all at the St. Patrick Varsity Tournament Thursday as the Maroons cruised to a 5-1 victory over Northside Academy. Cuauhtemoc Estrada and Juan Camargo recorded the other 2 goals for the Maroons while Jose Quevedo added 2 assists. Osiel Ravadan had 5 saves in goal for Elgin.

Streamwood 1, Buffalo Grove 1: Ivan Arce scored the Sabres' (1-2-2) only goal on an assist from Alex Perez at the Lake Park Classic but Streamwood was able to hang on to a 1-1 tie with Buffalo Grove. Edgar Leyva registered 6 saves in goal for the Sabres.

Bartlett 2, Larkin 0: The Hawks (4-1, 1-1) wasted no time picking up their first Upstate Eight Conference victory on the road against Larkin 2-0. Bartlett's Alex Ortiz placed a perfect chip shot over the Royal defenders to the feet of a wide open Mike DiNuzzo who put the ball in the back of the net just under 5 minutes into the game. Sophomore Tyler Lake then added a second half goal to seal the win for the Hawks.

Huntley 2, Wauconda 0: The Red Raiders (2-2-1) scored 2 early goals and never looked back as they advanced to the championship game of the Wauconda Invite on Saturday where they will face Marian Central at 4 p.m. Sophomore Javier Diaz provided all of Huntley's offense scoring both goals. Eduardo Mejia added an assist while Kevin Montelongo earned the shut-out in goal with 5 saves.

Burlington Central 3, Genoa-Kingston 2: The Rockets (3-1) were able to hold off a second half Genoa-Kingston charge to earn the 3-2 victory at the Burlington Central Invitational. Alexis Camarena, Chris Gousios, and Cameron Ostrowski all scored goals for the Rockets while Kyle Reopelle added 2 assists and Camarena added one. Alex Pieper recorded 3 saves in goal for Burlington Central.
