• Michael Dunn of the 2400 block of Barberry Court, Arlington Heights, was arrested on a charge of unlawful possession of a controlled substance after police found cocaine in his car at Willard Avenue and Chicago Street, reports said.

• A woman's purse, Social Security card and the Social Security cards of her four children were stolen from her car parked in front of J.J. Peppers convenience store Saturday night, according to police reports. No arrests have been made.

• Four 47-spoke wheel and tire combinations were stolen from a garage on Mosely and Standish Streets in Elgin over the weekend. No arrests have been made.
