Downers Grove North 3, Streamwood 2: The Sabres (1-1) came up just short in their match against Downers Grove North in the Lake Park Classic. Despite playing from the 7th minute on with only 10 players due to a red card. Alex Perez and Roma Patino paced Streamwood's offense recording a goal and an assist each. Edgar Leyva had 6 saves.

West Aurora 1, Bartlett 0: Jeff Gal recorded 7 saves in goal for the Hawks (2-1) in this West Aurora tournament loss.

Burlington Central 3, Sycamore 1: The Rockets (1-1) got goals from Cameron Ostrowski, Stephen Hall and Christopher Gousios in this nonconference win. Hall and Alejandro Nava added assists. Alex Pieper recorded 6 saves in goal for Burlington Central.

Crystal Lake South 2, Lake Park 1: Jon Gutmann scored the second of his 2 goals with 8 seconds remaining in regulation to lift the Gators (3-0) over Lake Park 2-1 in this matchup at the Lake Park Invite. Gutmann scored his first goal of the match on a penalty kick while Charlie Oliver was credited with the assist on the game-winner. Dave Walsh came up big in goal recording 10 saves for the Gators.
