Library remodel: The Palatine Public Library District Rand Road branch, 1585 Rand Road, (Palatine Opportunity Center) is going through some renovations in August. The updates will include fresh paint, new computer stations and a catalog station. House of operation will remain the same with the exception of a later opening on Monday, Aug. 24, at 1 p.m. instead of the normal time of 11 a.m. Come visit the Rand Road branch in September to see the new look.
