More than 150 juried artists from across the United States display and sell their work at the Cantigny Fine Art Festival. Youngsters can play an interactive art bingo game and join their fathers for a father-and-child art project in honor of the Father's Day holiday.

Happy birthday bear
Round Lake Park District's theater program teams up with College of Lake County for "Winnie the Pooh's Birthday," a play based upon the A.A. Milne classic tales of Christopher Robin's plush animals.

Around the maypole
The 98th Annual Swedish Midsummer Festival features a traditional Swedish maypole dance for visitors of all ages and a Viking living history encampment. Watch live Scandinavian dancing, sample Scandinavian food and browse at an arts and crafts fair. Youngsters can get an up-close look at some Icelandic horses.
