Henry Krebs of Elk Grove Village was named winner of Elk Grove Village Public Library's 50th anniversary logo contest. Krebs received a $100 gift card to Barnes & Noble Booksellers. The contest was open to all ages. Two runners up, Marie Hendren and Samantha Parkison, received $50 gift cards. The logo is featured in the library's redesigned summer newsletter and will be stamped on giveaways and select commemorative items for the anniversary, said Jill Derkits, library spokeswoman. The library's 50th anniversary weekend celebration will be July 17 to 19.
