Addams Jr. High receives third threat on wall

Schaumburg's Addams Junior High School has received its third vague, unspecific threat scrawled on the wall of a bathroom stall this month.

The latest message suggests an incident will occur on Tuesday, May 26.

Schaumburg Township District 54 officials said the school will be open Tuesday and all after-school activities will be held as normal.

Nothing arose from either of the similar threats targeted for this week and last.

School Principal Steve Pearce sent a letter to parents Friday telling them that there will be a police presence at the school Tuesday and asking for their cooperation in planning for a normal day of classes.

Pearce asked for assistance from parents and children who might have information about who wrote any of the recent threatening messages.
