Baked Tortilla Salad Bowls
6 (9-inch) flour tortillas
Place oven rack in middle position and heat to 400 degrees.
Tear off six, 18-inch lengths of aluminum foil; crumple each piece to make six, 3-inch balls. Drape a tortilla over each ball. Place on a baking sheet or sheets and bake for about 7 minutes until lightly browned around the edges.
Carefully remove the tortilla bowls from the foil balls, turn right side up and cool on a wire rack.
Serves six.
Nutrition values per bowl: 210 calories (21.4 percent from fat), 5 g fat (2 g saturated fat), 36 g carbohydrate, 1 g fiber, 6 g protein, 0 cholesterol, 630 mg sodium.
