Possible swine flu in all District 93 schools:

All eight schools in Elementary District 93 have suspected or probable cases of swine flu, and one school has a confirmed case. Letters were sent out to District 93 parents on Friday, informing them of the most recent cases. Superintendent Henry Gmitro said none of the schools have been closed, following the new protocol from the CDC and the DuPage County Health Department. Gmitro said he wouldn't be releasing the name of the school with the confirmed case. "I don't think it makes any difference for parents to know that," he said. "There are cases that are potentially existing in all eight of the schools. Parents should respond in a way that they may be interacting with someone who has a virus." The district recommends anyone with the virus to avoid contact with others, cover their mouths when sneezing and wash hands.
