Fecarotta offers his thanks to voters

To all the residents of Schaumburg Township: My mission statement came from my father, a Chicago police officer once shot in the line of duty. He said, "Bobby, nothing lasts forever, but when you have something, make a difference."

I am so humbled to have the chance to serve for another four years based on voters making a decision that affects them as taxpayers. It is also rewarding that they made that choice based on efforts and accomplishments and not politics.

I met and got to know my opponent, Mr. Lenehan. He himself proved to be a honorable person based on the campaign he ran against me. He is a hard-working family man who carries himself well, and he should be proud of that.

Again, thank you for the continued support and I will even work harder at this based on your shot in the arm of support!

Robert A. Fecarotta

Schaumburg Township Highway Commissioner
