Hampshire server cited

Bartenders at two Kane County taverns were cited recently for selling alcohol to minors, the sheriff's office announced Monday. Charged were Rita A. Rucker, 61, of Carpentersville, at The Hideaway, 35W377 Riverside Drive, St. Charles, and Lisa A. Pari, 47, of Hampshire, at Old Stark's Tavern, 43W478 Route 72, Hampshire. Police said the citations were the result of a compliance check Thursday that involved special agents from the Illinois Liquor Control Commission. Sixteen businesses did not serve minors. Police said the establishments that did not pass the compliance check face additional consequences at upcoming hearings in front of the county liquor commission.
