Sesso represents openness, accountability

Schaumburg Township needs young, aggressive talent on its board of trustees.

Adam Sesso has demonstrated his expertise and leadership abilities on the Schaumburg Township Library Board.

Adam is currently the vice president of the Schaumburg Township District Library Board. First elected library trustee in 2007, Adam is the youngest elected official in Schaumburg Township at only 27 years old. Last year, Adam introduced the Student Advisory Trustee program, which gives local District 211 students the opportunity to serve on the library board and learn the inter-workings of local government.

Sesso has brought a greater level of transparency to the STD Library Board requiring that all committee meeting minutes and reports be posted on line.

Adam is also on state Rep. (Fred) Crespo's Veterans Affairs Committee for the 44th Legislative District.

He has made many suggestions and worked with his fellow board members to be sure all the needs of Schaumburg Township Library residents are met.

Sesso is committed to bringing a higher level of transparency and efficiency to Schaumburg Township and is a leader and a voice of a new generation.
