Bartlett
• Westin D. Galante, 17, of the 800 block of Brookside Drive, Bartlett, was arrested around 9:15 a.m. March 3 at his home and charged with battery and resisting a peace officer. His court date is March 31.
• Nikita Patel, 19, of the 1700 block of Reaves Drive, Glendale Heights, and Priyanka Sharma, 17, of the 7500 block of Bristol Lane, Hanover Park, were arrested around 10 p.m. March 7 at Bartlett High School, 701 W. Schick Road, and charged with local ordinance consumption of alcohol by a minor. Their court date is April 13.
• Scott Cameron, 18, of the 100 block of Picasso Drive, St. Charles, Angel Fernandez, 18, of the 1700 block of Cumberland Green, St. Charles, and a 15-year-old boy were arrested around 3 a.m. March 7 at 1680-3 Columbia Circle and charged with local ordinance consumption of alcohol by a minor. Their court date is March 30.
• Thieves stole a cell phone and MP3 player out of an unlocked gym locker at Bartlett High School, 701 W. Schick Road, around 10 a.m. March 4. Lose was estimated at $315.
• Vandals smashed the rear window on a Honda Passport on Ivory Lane March 5. Damage was estimated at $1,000.
• Thieves stole a purse valued at $100 out of the unlocked custodian's closet at Centennial School, 234 E. Stearns Road, Feb. 24.
Hanover Park
• Brandon D. O'Connor, 18, of the 600 block of Deerfield, Streamwood, was arrested around 1 a.m. March 8 at Church and Walnut and charged with consumption of alcohol by a minor.
• Burglars stole a CD player out of two vehicles on the 1700 and 1800 blocks of Ontarioville Road overnight March 8-9.
• Vandals used a black permanent marker to write graffiti on a home and vehicle on the 1900 block of Ontarioville Road overnight March 8-9.
• Burglars stole the in-dash stereo system out of a vehicle on the 6800 block of Peach Tree, broke into a vehicle on the 6900 block of Pine Tree, and stole the in-dash stereo out of a vehicle on the 6800 block of Valley View overnight March 8-9.
• Vandals smashed the windshield on a vehicle on the 2000 block of Walnut around 10 a.m. March 8.
Hoffman Estates
• John P. Moran Jr., 28, of the 0-100 block of Berry Parkway, Park Ridge, was arrested around 8:10 p.m. March 7 at the police department, 1200 N. Gannon Drive, and charged with harassment by telephone. His court date is April 16.
• Elizabeth Mary Palmer, 25, of the 100 block of Brightridge Drive, Schaumburg, was arrested around 2 a.m. March 7 at Kingsdale Drive and Candlewood Lane and charged with illegal transportation of open liquor, driving under the influence of alcohol and traffic violations. Her court date is April 28.
• Burglars broke a lock on a service door at Firestone auto repair shop on the 1000 block of North Roselle Road between 5 p.m. March 8 and 6:30 a.m. March 9 and stole a safe, engine scanner, computer tower and monitor, and money. Loss was estimated at $8,661.
• Burglars entered through a sliding-glass door in the dining room, ransacked bedrooms and stole a gold and diamond wedding ring valued at $1,800 out of a home on the 600 block of Randi Lane between 11:45 a.m. and 12:03 p.m. March 9.
• Thieves stole a stainless steel propane grill valued at $1,000 out of the backyard at a home on the 1600 block of Hickory Drive between 6 p.m. March 5 and 6 p.m. March 6.
• Burglars smashed a window at Hiba Beauty and Hair Salon on the 700 block of West Golf Road between 7 p.m. March 4 and 8 a.m. March 5 and stole four hand-held blow dryers valued between $280 and $600 and a 32-inch flat screen TV.
• Burglars stole a GPS unit and wallet with $10 and 15 credit cards out of an unlocked 1999 Buick Regal on the 1400 block of Nottingham Lane between 7:30 and 9 p.m. March 4.
• Burglars stole a GPS unit and MP3 player out of a 2002 Ford Explorer and loose change out of a 2008 Chevrolet Equinox on the 2000 block of Parkview Circle East between 5:30 p.m. March 4 and 8 a.m. March 5.
Schaumburg
• Shomaela Ahmed, 17, of the 1800 block of Jamestown Circle, Hoffman Estates, was arrested around 6:40 p.m. March 6 at Macy's in Woodfield Mall and charged with retail theft. Her court date is April 8.
• Burglars entered through a sliding-glass door at a home on the 2300 block of Holmes Way between 1:30 and 7:55 p.m. March 6, ransacked a bedroom and stole four rings and a watch. Value was estimated at $3,650.
• Burglars broke into a 1999 Honda Civic in an apartment lot on the 1200 block of Crabtree Lane between 6 p.m. March 5 and 7:20 a.m. March 6 and stole a CD stereo head unit, two subwoofer speakers and an amplifier. Value was estimated at $1,500.
•Vandals shattered the rear windshield on a 1994 Nissan Sentra in a driveway on the 100 block of South Staffire Lane between 1 p.m. March 5 and 10:30 a.m. March 6. Damage was estimated at $200.
• Burglars broke into a car on the 1700 block of East Higgins Road between 7:45 and 10:20 p.m. March 6 and stole a GPS unit and pair of sunglasses. Loss was estimated at $700.
• Burglars broke into a 2000 Nissan Maxima on the 600 block of North Martingale Road between 7:30 and 11:10 p.m. March 6 and stole a GPS unit. Loss was estimated at $600.
Streamwood
• Michael T. Reid, 21, of the 1400 block of Fairlane Drive, Streamwood, was arrested around 7:45 p.m. March 8 on the 1300 block of East Irving Park Road and charged with possession of marijuana.
• Deana M. Casas, 32, of the 300 block of West Green Meadows, Streamwood, was arrested around 2 p.m. March 6 at Wal-Mart, 860 S. Barrington Road, and charged with retail theft. Her court date is April 9.
• Burglars broke into a 2004 Honda CR-V and a 2006 Hyundai Santa Fe in a restaurant lot at 700 S. Barrington Road between 6:30 and 10:10 p.m. March 7 and stole a GPS unit out of each vehicle. Loss was estimated at $400.
•Vandals wrote gang graffiti on washroom door frames in a park at 700 W. Irving Park Road between 6 p.m. March 5 and 9 a.m. March 6.
•Burglars broke into a 2004 Chevrolet Tahoe in a driveway on the 0-100 block of Hummingbird Lane between 10:45 p.m. March 5 and 8 a.m. March 6 and stole a radar detector valued at $300.
