•Vandals hurled rocks or shot BB-gun pellets that chipped the front windshields of a 1994 Ford Mustang and 1992 Ford pickup truck at a home on the 17300 block of Woodland Drive Feb. 23.

Gurnee

•Vandals shot bullets into windows 16 to 18 feet up at Nosco Printing Group, 2199 N. Delany Road, overnight March 2-3.

•Thieves stole a cell phone valued at $280 out of a girl's backpack in a locker room at Warren Township High School, 500 N. O'Plaine Road, between 2:30 and 4:45 p.m. March 4.

Ingleside

•Burglars stole a laptop computer and carrying case Feb. 22 or 23 out of an unlocked 2009 Chevrolet sedan in a driveway on the 26600 block of West Wild Wood Drive. Value was estimated at $1,080.

Lake Zurich

•Eddie M. Maher, 22, of the 0-100 block of Renaissance Place, Palatine, was arrested around 8:05 p.m. Feb. 28 on Route 12 at June Terrace and charged with a traffic violation and possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. His court date is March 16.

•Vandals scratched a vehicle on the 100 block of Butterfield Road around 11 a.m. March 1. Damage was estimated at $1,500.

Mundelein

•Thieves stole a cell phone valued at $250 from the residential facility at 27255 Fairfield Road Feb. 26.

Round Lake Beach

•Vandals smashed the rear window on a vehicle on the 400 block of East Clarendon Drive Feb. 23.

•Burglars stole a snowboard out of a garage at a home on the 1400 block of Springbrook Court overnight Feb. 20-21.

•Vandals shot BB-gun pellets that broke windows on trailers at Beach School, 1420 Grove Drive, between Feb. 23 and 24.

Vernon Hills

•Jessica F. Miller, 18, of the 0-100 block of Bristol, Mundelein, and Melissa F. Lauwasser, 19, of the 0-100 block of Edgewood Road, Vernon Hills, were arrested Feb. 28 at Macy's in Westfield Hawthorn Mall and charged with retail theft after they took clothes valued at $114. their court date is March 28.

Wauconda

•Vandals smashed the windshield on a 2001 Ford sedan overnight Feb. 14-15 in a driveway on the 23500 block of Pond Shore Drive. Damage was estimated at $210.

•Burglars stole building materials from a Town and Country home under construction on the 2500 block of Dogwood Drive overnight Feb. 26-27.
