Board members needed

South Elgin Parks and Recreation FUNdation is seeking volunteers to serve on its board. The FUNdation is a 5-year-old, not-for-profit arm of the department. School hosts bingo night

Hampshire Middle School, 560 S. State St., is hosting Family Bingo Night from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday, March 8. The event is an fundraiser for Hampshire Elementary School that raised more than $6,000 for school equipment last year. Bingo cards cost $2 each; five cards cost $8. There is no additional charge for admission. Food will be for sale, and a raffle will be held for gift baskets. Bingo night is open to everyone in the community.
