St. Edward wins; Hampshire falls

St. Edward 52, Stillman Valley 48: St. Edward (7-15) stunted a 7-game losing skid with this 52-48 nonconference win over Stillman Valley on the road. With three players reaching double-digits in scoring, Riley Coleman led the Green Wave with 18 points. Phile Johnson and Jim Waclawik each added 12 points.

Byron 54, Hampshire 47: The Whip-Purs snapped a 10-game winning streak falling to Byron in nonconference play. James Goebbert's 17 points led Hampshire (15-7, 7-0). Mike Kozenczak (8 points) and Will Bush (7 points) each contributed.
