Man ordered not to drive or use alcohol, drugs

A man who was charged with DUI while picking up his child from school in Bartlett was given a $40,000 bond Saturday and ordered not to drive or use alcohol or drugs.

Jozef Mucha, 39, of the 200 block of North Hale Avenue in Bartlett, appeared in bond court Saturday morning in Cook County Circuit Court in Rolling Meadows. He was arrested at around 12:30 p.m. Friday near the entrance to Bartlett Elementary School, after police said he was driving drunk.

Police said school officials had called to alert them to a drunken parent. Authorities charged Mucha with aggravated DUI, aggravated driving with a revoked license and no insurance.
