Briefs: Glendale Heights man charged
A 43-year-old Glendale Heights man is facing child pornography charges after authorities seized computer equipment from his home, officials said. Arturo Silva, 43, of the 100 block of E. Lincoln, has been charged with one count of possession of child pornography, police said. He was arrested Wednesday after Glendale Heights police, acting on evidence acquired by Illinois Attorney General's Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, searched Silva's home. Police say they found computer equipment containing several computerized files depicting child pornography. Silva, who was present at the time the search warrant was executed, was transported to the DuPage County jail. He was released after posting 10 percent of his $60,000 bond.
