With four players scoring in the double-digits, St. Edward took an early lead and never looked back in this dominant 74-39 win over Guilford at the 22nd Annual Turkey Tournament at Dakota Monday night.
With 20 points, Katie Yohn led all scorers. Madeline Kerr followed with 14 points.
Enza Ranallo (12 points) and Callie Johnson (10 points) contributed.
St. Viator 69, Streamwood 41
Streamwood (1-3) fell behind early and could not battle back as St. Viator beat the Sabres 69-41 to conclude play at the Dundee-Crown Thanksgiving Tournament.
Michele Tormczak and Emma Schmidt led the Sabre offense each scoring 8 points.
Elgin Academy 53, Kirkland 39
Behind a 22-point showing from Alyssa Pena, Elgin Academy improved to 2-0 on the season with a 53-39 vcitory over Kirkland at the Elgin Academy tournament.
Ashley Barnes added 9 points for the Hilltoppers.
Huntley 55, West Aurora 51
Trailing 29-24 at the half, Huntley (2-0) fought back to earn a 55-51 win over West Aurora at the Waubonsie Valley/West Aurora WarHawk Tournament.
Kadie Lowery led the Red Raiders with 17 points while pulling down 6 rebounds.
Carly Goede added 15 points and 7 assists.
Hillary Johnson also had 7 points and 7 rebounds.
