Winters 2nd at SCC meet

St. Edward's Brad Winters tied for second place with a 74 and Eric Winters had an 80 for seventh place in the Suburban Catholic Conference meet at The Highlands of Elgin. Marian Central won the meet with a 312. St. Edward was last as a team with a 353.

Westminster Christian d. Elgin Academy: Behind a medalist round 39 from Brandon Weingartner, Westminster Christian recorded a program-best 166 finish to defeat Elgin Academy (186). Also contributing to the lowest score in school history for the Warriors were Christen Benson (41), Brandon Siewert (42) and Caleb Gannon (43).
