•Vandals cracked the windshield and poured beer on a window and hood of a 2000 Chevrolet Venture van between midnight and 10 a.m. Aug. 24 parked in an apartment lot on the 0-100 block of Mineola Road, police said. A damage estimate was not available.

•Brittany Kohlmeyer-Brock, 19, 4125 Everett Place, Park City, was arrested Aug. 31 at Route 45 and Washington Street and charged with possession of drug equipment and driving under the influence of drugs, police said. Her Round Lake Beach court date was set for Sept. 17.

•A vandal hurled a rock around 11 p.m. Sept. 3 that smashed a window on a 2001 Pontiac coupe parked in a driveway at a home on the 4400 block of McClure Avenue, police said. A damage estimate was not available.

•Kevin P. Walsh, 43, 912 Bruce Court, Libertyville, was arrested around 12:30 p.m. Aug. 30 and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and driving under the influence after a traffic stop at North Milwaukee and Newberry avenues, police said. His Waukegan court date was set for Sept. 19.

•Vandals broke the front storm door between 1 and 3 a.m. Sept. 1 at a home on the 1700 block of Oxford Drive, police said. Damage was estimated at $300.

•Marcia Y. Wood, 24, 478 Litchfield Drive, Round Lake, was arrested around 11:25 p.m. Aug. 29 and charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor and endangering the life or health of a child after officers responded to her home on a complaint and discovered she was hosting an underage drinking party and was too intoxicated to care for her children, police said. Robert B. Valenziano, 22, 478 Litchfield Drive, Round Lake, was arrested and charged with aggravated battery and resisting a peace officer when he was uncooperative and pushed an officer and spit in his face, reports added. Arrested and charged with illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor were: Kaitlin N. Marsh, 20, 1411 Caren Court, Buffalo Grove; Anna L. Ramirez, 20, 14 River Oaks Court West, Buffalo Grove; Richard A. Wood, 19, 24 S. Chicago Ave., Mundelein; Alex T. Gryszkowski, 19, 130 S. Southport, Mundelein; and Gabriella A. Esperson, 17, 20670 Driftwood Court, Mundelein, reports added. Esperson's Round Lake Beach court date was set for Sept. 16. A Round Lake Beach court date for Marsh, Ramirez, Richard Wood, and Gryszkowski was set for Sept. 23. A court date for Valenziano was not available, and Marcia Wood received a Waukegan court date of Sept. 22.

•Yvette Benitez, 19, 157 N. Milwaukee Ave., Lake Villa, was arrested around 9:10 p.m. Aug. 29 and charged with theft after a security agent for Kohl's, 230 E. Rollins Road, saw her take gift cards valued at $205, police said. A court date was not available.

•Mike P. Tice, 17, 197 Sheffield Lane, Vernon Hills, Ian B. Cohen, 17, 1657 Woods Way, Vernon Hills, and Gregory S. Harmon, 18, 332 Haddon Circle, Vernon Hills, were arrested Aug. 29 on the 100 block of North Lakeview Parkway and charged with unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor, police said. Tice received a Mundelein court date of Sept. 22; a Waukegan court date for Cohen and Harmon was set for Sept. 24.
•Alex Umansky, 41, 2520 E. State St., Rockford, was arrested Sept. 2 and charged with possession of a controlled substance (cocaine) and driving under the influence after a traffic stop on Milwaukee Avenue at Townline Road, police said. His Waukegan court date was set for Sept. 23.
•Saprasca V. Jones, 42, 4401 Michigan Ave., Apt. 3S, Chicago, and Erma J. Bailey, 39, 2744 S. 17th Ave., Apt. 6, Broadview, were arrested Sept. 2 and charged with three counts retail theft after a security agent discovered they had stolen clothes from JCPenney in Westfield Hawthorn mall and returned the items for store credit, police said. •Leszek Grzegorczyk, 60, 508 Indian Ridge Trail, Wauconda, was arrested around 1:55 a.m. Aug. 24 and charged with endangering the life of a child and driving under the influence of alcohol after a traffic stop at North Main Street and Hubbard Court, police said. A court date was not available.
•James W. Herron, 40, 410 S. Barrington Road, Apt. 78, Wauconda, was arrested around 11:30 a.m. Aug. 27 and charged with disorderly conduct after a disturbance on the 500 block of South Main Street, police said. A court date was not available.
