My First Quilt Block: 6:30-8:30 p.m., Sept. 8, Indian Trails Public Library District, 355 S. Schoenbeck Road, Wheeling. Participants will make a 6-inch finished quilt block using the hand piecing technique. Hand piecing will be taught and rotary cutting will be demonstrated.
