• Burglars forced open a door overnight July 30-31 at Apple Inc., 20530 Rand Road, police said. Value and damage estimates were not available.
Fox Lake
• Burglars forced open the door and stole two power saws, two cordless drills, a toolbox with hand tools, and a tool bag with woodworking tools Aug. 8 out of a shed on the 0-100 block of Nassau Colony, police said. Value was estimated at $1,250.
Grayslake
• Cody J. Hamel, 19, and Jeremy M. Eckles, 21, both of 308 Meadowgreen Lane, Round Lake, were arrested Aug. 7 after a traffic stop at Route 83 and Brighton Circle, police said. Hamel was charged with illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor and driving under the influence of alcohol, and his Waukegan court date was set for Sept. 2, reports said. Eckles was charged with permitting a driver under the influence to operate a vehicle, and his Round Lake Beach court date was set for Sept. 24.
Gurnee
• Tracy Ann Hill, 33, 5604 S. Throop St., Chicago, was arrested around 6:20 p.m. Aug. 6 and charged with theft after a security agent for Six Flags Great America, 1 Six Flags Parkway, discovered that employee Hill had stolen $680, police said. A court date was not available.
• Maribel M. Rodriguez, 19, 2014 Lloyd Ave., Waukegan, and Lizette Salinas, 19, 718 Porter St., Waukegan, were arrested around 6:20 p.m. Aug. 6 and charged with retail theft after a security agent for Kohl's, 6120 Route 132, saw them take merchandise and leave without paying, police said. A court date was not available.

• Vandals removed and smashed light bulbs from eight light posts Aug. 7 at eight homes on the 600 block of Pleasant Place, police said. A damage estimate was not available.

• James A. Klimek, 18, 22390 W. Cambridge Drive, Kildeer, was arrested around 2:20 a.m. Aug. 1 and charged with criminal damage to property for spray painting graffiti on a speed limit sign on the 22200 block of Cambridge Drive, police said. His Mundelein court date was set for Sept. 17.

• Jeffrey J. Jones, 42, 1575 Perry Court, Unit D, Aurora, was arrested around 4:50 p.m. Aug. 8 and charged with possession of marijuana, illegal transportation of alcohol and driving under the influence of alcohol/drugs after a traffic stop on the 800 block of West Route 22, police said. His Waukegan court date was not available.
• Vandals smashed a vehicle window around 7:30 a.m. Aug. 8 at Rental Max, 351 W. Main St., police said. Damage was estimated at $200.
• Michelle R. Stietzel, 35, 789 E. Whispering Oaks Drive, Palatine, was arrested around 11:20 p.m. Aug. 9 and charged with endangering the life of a child and driving under the influence after a traffic stop on Route 12 and Pheasant Ridge Road, police said. Her Waukegan court date was set for Sept. 18.

• James Peura, 36, 10230 W. California, Beach Park, was arrested around 7:30 a.m. Aug. 6 and charged with battery after a confrontation at North Shore Signs, 1925 Industrial Drive, police said. His Mundelein court date was set for Sept. 10.
Mundelein
• Kevin M. Stepp, 41, 26957 Highland St., Mundelein, was arrested around 6:50 p.m. Aug. 3 and charged with reckless conduct, disorderly conduct, and criminal damage to property after he caused a disturbance at Awesome Tan, 1416 S. Butterfield Road, and broke a glass counter in the shop, police said. His Waukegan court date was set for Sept. 5.
Round Lake Beach
• Jose A. Martinez, 17, 31 Ferndale Drive, Round Lake Beach, and three teenage boys, 13, 14, and 15, were arrested around 2:50 p.m. Aug. 2 and charged with theft after officers discovered they had stolen bicycles July 19 outside Regal Cinemas, 550 E. Rollins Road, police said. Officers were looking for a fifth suspect, reports added. Court dates were not available.
Wauconda
• Robert Berrelez, 41, 309 Helena Ave., Wauconda, was arrested Aug. 3 on the 100 block of Park Avenue and charged with disorderly conduct after a disturbance, police said. His Mundelein court date was set for Sept. 10.
• Vandals smashed a rear window overnight Aug. 3-4 at a home on the 500 block of Old Country Way, police said. A damage estimate was not available.
