• Tamica N. Outland, 26, 341 Bloomfield Court, Vernon Hills, was arrested Aug. 4 at Route 45 and Jones Point Road and charged with obstructing justice, unlawful possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia, police said. A court date was not available.
Gurnee
• Alina Dominguez, 20, 407 Westmoreland Ave., Waukegan, was arrested around 8:30 p.m. July 29 and charged with local ordinance retail theft after a security agent for Sears Grand, 6136 Route 132, saw her take two boxes of over-the-counter weight loss capsules valued at $140 and leave without paying, police said. A court date was not available.
• Burglars stole two purses with a digital camera, memory cards, checkbook, credit cards and cash around 7 p.m. July 29 out of a 1998 Chevrolet van parked at Six Flags Great America, 1 Six Flags Parkway, police said. Total value was estimated at $1,500.
Island Lake
• Thieves stole tables and a cooler Aug. 1 from Sideouts bar, 4018 Roberts Road, police said. A value estimate was not available.
Lake Zurich
• Vandals used black spray paint to write graffiti around 1 a.m. July 31 on the rear exterior wall at three businesses on the 400 block of South Rand Road and 700 block of West Route 22, police said. Damage estimates were not available.
• Vandals damaged 16 mailboxes and one street sign around 1 a.m. Aug. 1 on the 1100 block of Stanton Road, 800 and 900 blocks of Warwick Lane, at the intersection of Pheasant Ridge and Warwick Lane, 1100 and 1200 blocks of Thorndale Lane, 100 block of Regent Court, 1100 block of Stratford Lane, 700 and 800 blocks of Foxmoor Lane, 300 block of Thistle Lane, 1000 block of Bristol Trail Road, 300 block of Knox Park Road, and 1100 block of Berkley Lane, police said. Damage estimates were not available.
Libertyville
• Jonathon P. Scardina, 30, 133 Annapolis Drive, Vernon Hills, was arrested around 11:45 p.m. Aug. 2 on the 400 block of North Milwaukee Avenue after he exposed himself, police indicated. His Waukegan court date was set for Aug. 25. Scardina's record was later expunged.
Mundelein
• James Girardo, 22, 422 Broadway St., Libertyville, was arrested around 7:50 p.m. July 30 and charged with possession of marijuana after a traffic stop on Diamond Lake Road at Shadydell Avenue, police said. His Mundelein court date was set for Sept. 4.
Round Lake
• Juan L. Pena, 34, 1510 N. Cedar Lake Road, Round Lake Beach, was arrested around 1:50 a.m. July 20 and charged with assault after officers were called to a disturbance on the 200 block of Park Road where Pena aggressively threatened a victim during an argument, police said. His Round Lake Beach court date was set for Aug. 19.

• Burglars stole a cell phone charger and splitter overnight July 22-23 out of an unlocked vehicle at a home on the 2100 block of Heartland Path, and stole a cell phone charger out of a second unlocked vehicle on the same block, police said. Value estimates were not available.
• Burglars stole a GPS unit, $500, and two mag lights overnight July 22-23 out of an unlocked vehicle on the 300 block of Springwood Court, police said. A value estimate was not available.
Vernon Hills
• Hugo Sanchez-Palomino, 24, 590 Darlington, Crystal Lake, was arrested July 30 in Westfield Hawthorn mall and charged with disorderly conduct after he placed a camera phone under the partition of a restroom stall while the victim was using the stall, police said. His Waukegan court date was set for Aug. 11.
• Ronald L. Hoffstadt, 45, 28727 Lemon Road, Mundelein, was arrested July 27 on the 700 block of Lakeview Parkway and charged with disorderly conduct after he made multiple 911 calls when no emergency existed, and he was vulgar with dispatchers, police said. A court date was not available.

• Vandals damaged a front porch July 27 at a home on the 400 block of Kimball Avenue, police said. A damage estimate was not available.
