Grayslake

• Phillip J. Ash, 17, 531 Scott Ave., Grayslake, and Erik D. Cohen, 17, 1105 Chadwick Drive, Grayslake, were arrested July 26 on the 400 block of South Route 83, police said. Ash was charged with possession of marijuana and his Waukegan court date was set for Aug. 18, reports said. Cohen was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and his Round Lake Beach court date was set for Aug. 20.

Gurnee

• Kara J. Wood, 17, 24960 87th St., Salem, Wis., and Krystal R. Navigato, 17, 22216 121st St., Bristol, Wis., were arrested around 4 p.m. July 29 and charged with retail theft after a security agent for Kohl's, 6120 Route 132, saw them take merchandise and leave without paying, police said. Wood also was charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance, reports added. Their court dates were not available.

• Gaven S. Kingery, 18, 217 Baird St., Dakota, Ill., was arrested around 5:10 p.m. July 29 and charged with battery after a confrontation at Hurricane Harbor in Six Flags Great America, 1 Six Flags Parkway, police said. A court date was not available.

• Burglars stole a laptop computer July 25 out of an unlocked 1999 Chevrolet coupe at Six Flags Great America, 1 Six Flags Parkway, police said. Value was estimated at $800.

Lake Zurich

• Sabrina A. Martin-Murray, 24, 3218 W. Warner, Chicago, was arrested around 1:45 a.m. July 28 and charged with illegal transportation of open alcohol and driving under the influence after a traffic stop at Route 12 and June Terrace, police said. Her Waukegan court date was set for Aug. 25.

• Burglars smashed a window around 9 p.m. July 26 and stole items out of a vehicle parked on the 800 block of North Old Rand Road, police said. Value and damage estimates were not available.

• Matthew D. Bockelmann, 19, 146 Kincaid Ave., Lake Zurich, was arrested around 9:20 a.m. July 28 and charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia and driving under the influence after a traffic stop on the 200 block of South Buesching Road, police said. His Waukegan court date was set for Aug. 18.

Lincolnshire

• Aleksandr Vasilyev, 18, 981 Parker Lane, Buffalo Grove, was arrested around 11:45 p.m. July 31 and charged with leaving the scene of a property damage accident, obstructing a peace officer, no proof of insurance and unlawful possession of alcohol by a minor and unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor. Police also charged a 16-year-old male from Deerfield with obstructing a police officer, unlawful possession of alcohol by a minor and unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor. Both are due in Mundelein Branch Court Sept. 15.

• Keith A. Dart, 43, of 1057 Camille Ave., Deerfield, was arrested about 12:43 a.m. Aug. 2 and charged with possession of burglary tools after police responded to a report of a suspicious person at a business on the 300 block of Parkway Drive, police said. Dart was transported to Lake County jail to await a bond hearing.

Round Lake

• Ashley M. Lee, 18, 236 W. Forest Ave., Round Lake, was arrested around 12:10 p.m. July 12 and charged with criminal damage to property after she scratched a neighbor's car on the 300 block of West Forest Avenue, police said. Her Waukegan court date was set for Aug. 8.

Round Lake Beach

• Oscar Rodriguez, 17, 1519 N. Pleasant, Round Lake Beach, was arrested around 7 p.m. July 16 on the 1600 block of North Pleasant and charged with possession of marijuana after an officer saw a group of males standing near a bag of marijuana and Rodriguez admitted it belonged to him, police said. A court date was not available.

Vernon Hills

• Francisco H. Mancilla, 17, 388 Pierce Court, Vernon Hills, and Israel Sanchez, 17, 361 Walnut, Apt. 131, Mundelein, were arrested July 26 and charged with consumption of alcohol by a minor after an officer detected alcohol on their breath on the 1000 block of Lakeview Parkway, police said. Sanchez also was charged with unlawful possession of an air rifle, and his Mundelein court date was set for Sept. 8. Mancilla received a Waukegan court date of Aug. 19.

• Juan M. Garcia-Torres, 25, 320 Midway Lane, Mundelein, and Juan Perez, 21, 26343 Acorn, Mundelein, were arrested July 27 and charged with burglary from motor vehicle after they admitted taking items out of an unlocked vehicle on the 800 block of Westmoreland Drive, police said. Garcia-Torres also was charged with obstructing a peace officer after he gave an officer a false name, reports added. Court dates were not available.

Wauconda

• James R. Grooms, 20, 3811 Hale Lane, Island Lake, was arrested July 27 at Anderson and May and charged with minor consumption of alcohol, police said. His Mundelein court date was set for Aug. 13.
