Buzz over to see "The Bee Movie"
Take advantage of Crystal Lake Park District's improved free Movies in the Park and bring out the family for some fun.
On Friday, July 18, "The Bee Movie" will be playing free at Main Beach, rain or shine.
Southern Breeze Entertainment will debut their state-of-the-art inflatable outdoor movie screen. Arrive early to enjoy the music provided by the DJ booth, games and hops in the "Jumpers" beginning at 7 pm. The movie begins at dusk.
Dolphin Swim Club and Pump It Up are Crystal Lake Park District's sponsors of "Bee Movie." A free gift bag will be provided for the children. Concessions will be available.

Senior Coffee goes green in Huntley
This month, the Huntley Library's Senior Coffee topic will be "Go Green," a workshop on dangerous chemicals and toxins that can be found in most homes. The free program runs from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday, July 21 at the National City Bank, 13300 Route 47. Refreshments are provided, admission is free, and registration is open now at the library's reference desk, or call (847) 669-5386.
Auditions open for part in the Bard's dream
Calling all true actors and actresses, ages 16-70. Auditions for GreenRoom's fall show are from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, July 19. Casting is for all roles in this present-day version of Shakespeare's classic comedy, "A Midsummer Night's Dream."
