Burglars stole money out of a bedroom and a case of beer out of the garage between June 14 and 19 at a home on the 40300 block of Sunset Court, Lake County sheriff's office said. Value was estimated at $462.

Deer Park

Burglars stole an MP3 player and lighters around 3 p.m. June 25 out of a vehicle parked on the 23300 block of Mallard Court, police said. A value estimate was not available.

Grayslake

Willie T. Boyd, 17, 213 Station Park Circle, Grayslake, and Faith Ariyannah, 17, 33715 N. Royal Oak Lane, Grayslake, were arrested June 22 and charged with theft after they stole a cell phone out of an apartment on the 700 block of Brittany Square, police said. Their Round Lake Beach court date was set for July 23.

Gurnee

A man, who was around 50 years old, was seen taking obscene pictures up women's' skirts around 4 p.m. June 24 at Warren Newport Library, 224 N. O'Plaine Road, police said.

Thieves stole an insulin kit around 8:30 p.m. June 24 out of a locker at the Dark Knight ride in Six Flags Great America, 1 Six Flags Parkway, police said. Value was estimated at $180.

Vandals slashed tires on a vehicle June 27 on the 3300 block of Greenwich Lane, police said. A damage estimate was not available.

Kildeer

Burglars stole a laptop computer around 5:50 p.m. June 21 out of a vehicle parked in a store lot at 20771 Rand Road, police said. A value estimate was not available.

Lake Zurich

Erin N. Overbey, 21, 857 March St., Lake Zurich, was arrested around 1 a.m. June 28 and charged with possession of marijuana and driving under the influence of alcohol after a traffic stop at Buesching and Farm Bridge roads, police said. Her Waukegan court date was not available.

Vandals smashed five mailboxes around 12:30 a.m. June 29 on the 1100 block of Stafford Lane, police said. Total damage was estimated at $500.

Mundelein

Marcos A. Alba, 18, 299 S. Walnut, Apt. 73, Mundelein, was arrested around 4:50 p.m. June 24 and charged with unlawful contact with street gang members on Hickory at High streets, police said. A court date was not available.

Round Lake

David Biseno, 26, 203 Marlene Court, Wauconda, was arrested around 7:50 p.m. June 16 and charged with resisting and obstructing a peace officer and driving under the influence of alcohol after a traffic stop at Nippersink and Fairfield roads, police said. His Waukegan court date was set for July 25.

Melinda K. Hayes, 23, 50 Hillcrest, Fox Lake, was arrested around 4:45 p.m. June 18 and charged with retail theft after a security agent for Kohl's, 230 E. Rollins Road, saw her take merchandise and leave without paying, police said. A court date was not available.

Vandals wrote graffiti around 11 a.m. June 18 on a garage door at a home on the 100 block of West Clarendon Drive, and on a garage door on the 1300 block of Lakeshore Drive, police said. Damage estimates were not available.

Vandals wrote graffiti on two garage doors around 10 a.m. June 19 on the 500 block of West Hawthorne Drive, police said. Damage estimates were not available.

Noyra Mayoral, 20, 210 N. Wellington Ave., Mundelein, was arrested June 23 and charged with retail theft after a security agent for Sears in Westfield Hawthorn saw her take perfume and lotion and leave without paying, police said. Value was estimated at $60. Her Mundelein court date was set for July 21.

Alfredo Leon, 24, 1006 Wood St., McHenry, was arrested June 22 and charged with obstructing justice and felony driving under the influence after a traffic stop at Liberty Street and Larkdale Row, police said. His court date was not available.
