Kane County Democrats: The Kane County Democrats will hold its 10th annual golf outing on June 3 at Hughes Creek Golf Course in Elgin. First tee time is at 10 a.m.

Ticket costs $110 each; dinner only is $40.

Both dinner and hole sponsorships are available.

Steven Macko Memorial Golf Tournament: Join Cary Firefighters Association and Cary Lions Club for the Steven Macko Memorial Golf Tournament on Monday, June 9 at Cary Country Club, 2400 Grove Lane.

Register by May 19 for an early entry fee of $100 per golfer, thereafter fee is $125. Fee includes 18 holes of golf, cart, lunch, dinner, raffle, prizes and fun.

Extra diners are available for $25 each.

The outing is limited to the first 36 foursomes.

NISARA Spring Golf Outing: Help send local children with disabilities to Northern Illinois Special Recreation Association summer day camps by playing in the NISRA Foundation's 17th annual Spring Golf Outing on June 12. This outing at Foxford Hills in Cary begins with a shotgun start at 10 a.m., followed by 18 holes of golf and lunch on the course. A $10,000 putting contest, $1 Million Hole-in-One contest, prizes, appetizers and cocktails complete the day.

The cost for individual golfers is $125, a foursome is $500, and corporate golf packages and sponsorships are also available.

NISRA, a cooperative of 13 park districts and cities, provides year round recreation including Special Olympics training, for residents with disabilities in McHenry County and parts of Cook, Lake and Kane counties.

Marian Central Catholic High School: The 26th annual golf outing sponsored by The Athletic Boosters will take place on Wednesday, June 18 at Crystal Woods Golf Course at the intersection of routes 176 and 47 south of Woodstock.

Registration is at 10 a.m., shotgun start at 11 a.m. with box lunch at the turns

Registration is $125 per golfer includes green fees, cart, lunch, awards, dinner and live auction.

Dinner and auction will finish by 7 p.m. Golfers must be 21.

This fun day of golf and companionship is the major fundraiser for the Athletic Boosters. Proceeds from the event benefit the athletic program of the school.

All friends of Marian are invited to take part in this fun day. This popular event is limited to 144 golfers and will sell out.

ECC Golf Classic: Area golfers are invited to participate in the 10th annual Elgin Community College Foundation Golf Classic on Monday, June 23 at the Elgin Country Club, 2575 Weld Road, Elgin.

An afternoon of golf complemented by a full slate of prizes and activities promises to make for a most enjoyable day.

Proceeds benefit the ECC Foundation annual fund, which awards more than $100,000 yearly to current and incoming students attending ECC.

Registration and a silent auction begin at 10:30 a.m., followed by lunch at 11 a.m. The shotgun start, four-person scramble is set to begin at noon.

There are numerous contests along the way to keep everyone busy as they play the 18-hole, par 72 private course.

After golf, guests will enjoy a cocktail reception, dinner, awards and live auction.

Cocktails and hors d'oeuvres will be served at 5 p.m., followed by dinner at 6 p.m., during which awards and prizes will be announced. The auction will be held after dinner.

The cost is $250 per golfer and includes valet parking, greens fee, cart, personal locker, putting green, driving range, pro services, lunch, dinner, open bar and door prize.

Foursomes are $900. Program sponsors are available beginning at $75 and event sponsorships begin at $250. Those who do not golf are welcome to attend the lunch for $20 per person, or the reception and dinner for $60 per person.

Adult and Child Rehab Center golf outing: With the arrival of spring, plans for the Adult & Child Rehab Center's 20th annual golf outing and dinner auction are under way. The golf outing is scheduled for Monday, Aug. 11 at the McHenry Country Club, 820 N. John St., McHenry.

The day will begin with a chip-out contest at 10:30 a.m., and will end with an elegant dinner and a live auction conducted by acappella group Ac.Rock. Other events include a reverse raffle with the chance to win $4,000, golf prizes, lunch, cocktails, a silent auction and more.

The 18-hole outing gives both businesses and individuals the chance to raise money for the Adult & Child Rehab Center, which provides therapy and nursing services to children and adults throughout McHenry County. The Rehab Center has been serving the residents of McHenry County since 1949.
