McHenry County College notes
Let McHenry County College's Continuing Education Department help you have fun and get fit outdoors with their entertaining and educational classes being offered this spring. Classes include canoeing, basic fundamentals of golf, and advanced fundamentals of golf.

These classes will begin soon:
Canoeing the Waterways: This two-part workshop is designed to introduce students to beginning-intermediate canoeing in river conditions. You'll be instructed on the various types of canoes, handling and safety procedures and related equipment available. Special emphasis is given to canoeing for personal and group recreation purposes.
This class meets from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday for an orientation and instructional session and from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday for canoeing.
The cost of the class is $59. Use Course ID NRE S18 005 when registering.
Basic Fundamentals of Golf: This course is designed for the beginning golfer and will include the basic rules of play, terminology, equipment, scoring, skills and techniques to help you enjoy the game.
This class meets from 6 to 7 p.m. Wednesdays, May 21-June 18 at the Crystal Lake Golf Learning Center. The cost of this class is $75. Use Course ID NRE S09 005 when registering.
Advanced Fundamentals of Golf: Now that you've mastered the fundamentals of golf, there's more to learn. You'll work on specific skills to improve your drives, chipping, putting and swing techniques.
This class meets from 7 to 8 p.m. Wednesdays, May 21-June 18 at the Crystal Lake Golf Learning Center. The cost of this class is $75. Use Course ID NRE S10 005 when registering.
