Best & Brightest

• Heather Frase, daughter of John and Dawn Frase, of Lake Zurich, was named to the fall 2007 Dean's List at Ithaca College's School of Humanities and Sciences in New York. To qualify, students must attain a minimum grade point average of 3.5.

• Celestia Arendall, daughter of John and Carol Arendall of Mundelein, and a junior majoring in nursing at Valparaiso University in Indiana, was chosen to spend her spring break in Central America as part of a two-week medical mission trip. During the two-week medical mission trip, nursing and pre-medical arts students working under the supervision of physicians and nurses will provide care to hundreds of people without access to regular health care.

• Nicholas Olivares, Island Lake, and Justin Chappelle, Lake Zurich, earned academic honors during the fall 2007 semester at the University of Wisconsin-Parkside. Both were named to the Provost's List for maintaining a grade point average of 3.8.

• Boston University in Massachusetts named the following students to the Fall 2007 Dean's List.
