Party ends with 22 arrested in Glendale Heights

Glendale Heights police arrested 22 people in connection with a Friday night party at a vacant house in the 700 Block of Lippert Avenue.

Officers got a call about a loud party and possible underage drinking and found a large number of people at the house, according to a press release.

Tej Patel, 19, of the 4000 block of Stratford Lane, Carpentersville, who is related to the property owner, was charged with permitting minors to consume alcohol, and possession of and consumption of alcohol by a minor, police said.

Arrested on a charge of unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor was: Swati, Kumar, 18, 2157 Adobe Drive, and Joshua P. Calandria, 19, 21W540 Army Trail Road, Addison; Jessica M. Ralston, 18, 715 Balboa Trail, Bartlett; David Garcia, 18, 170 Royce, and Miraj R. Cokshi, 17, 183 W. Army Trail Road, Bloomingdale; Bradley J. Kodak, 18, 352 Alabama Trail, Carol Stream; Justin Elefano, 17, 54 Augusta Court; Scott A. Szramek, 18, 22W467 Winthrop, and James M. Kosmala, 17, 160 Armitage, Glendale Heights; and Samantha Menard, 18, 20 W. Berkshire, Lombard.

Arrested on a charge of unlawful possession of alcohol by a minor was: Monika Slenko, 17, 216 Applewood, Bloomingdale; David B. Capeles, 20, 1354 Glen Hill, Syed S. Ahmed, 18, 2306 Century Point, and Guillermina Hernandez, 17, 2N319 Bloomingdale Road, Glendale Heights; Gina L. Marasigan, 17, 1564 Spruce St., and Jamiel Z. Saleh, 18, 525 W. Pleasant # 1, Lombard.

Arrested on charges of unlawful possession and consumption of alcohol by a minor were: Marlon M. Godinez, 17, 2008 Baldwin Court; Michelle Salinas, 18, 1544 Lippert, Glendale Heights; Paulina Szelemej, 20, 255 Stanyon Court; Ryan C. Null, 18, 218 Glen Ellyn Road No. 303, Bloomingdale; Tej H. Patel, 18, 4088 Stratford Lane, Carpentersville; and Gina Wehrs, 17, 429 E. Wilson Ave., Lombard.

All were released on bond.
