4-H celebrates International Night
The seventh annual 4-H International Night with Woodstock Noon Rotary is set from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Creekside Middle School, 3201 Hercules Road Woodstock.
Admission is one canned good per person or $1 per person; $5 per family. Canned goods will be donated to an area organization in need. Monetary donations will be sent to Heifer International to aid in their global teaching efforts.

Women's clothes on sale at shop
The Heavenly Attic Resale Shop at 307 S. Main St., Algonquin, is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. Parking is available behind the store.
The shop has holiday items, winter items, books, silk flowers, clothing, housewares, toys, linens, jewelry, videos, magazines, sporting goods. Right now the shop is offering a $5 bag sale on women's clothes.

MCC to offer teen driving seminar
"9 Lives or Less," a teen driver safety seminar, will be offered from 3 to 6 p.m. Friday at the University Center, 100 S. Main St., Crystal Lake.
The focus of the seminar will be cost of receiving a traffic ticket, other moving violations, legal penalties of receiving a traffic infraction, and the pitfalls of destructive behavior both behind the wheel and as a passenger.
This 2.5-hour seminar will prepare teenagers to become more responsible drivers and a passengers.
